Lifeline For Children And Family
Welcome

Hello and thank you for visiting Lifeline For Children And Family's
website. Lifeline is a non profit organization designed to make a difference in lives of children who need support. It is incorporated in the State of Florida under the name: "War Survivors Ministries". It was initially founded to help the orphans and the widows who survived the genocide in Rwanda, Central africa. We have expended our activities to children in need in Florida, especially those who have major difficulties in school, who are discouraged about school due to different circumstances, and who are at high risk of dropping out of school before graduating high school. We help them through motivational group activities, and individual encouragement provided by adult volunteers. We work in collaboration with local churches and schools to identify these children in need in Rwanda and in Florida, and we discuss the best the best ways of providing them with appropriate support, according to each child's specific needs. It is generally known that children need parents for support and encouragement to be successful in life. Those who don't have parental support and encouragement, need support from other compassionate adult people willing to play the role of a parent for them. That is what Lifeline for Youth and Family is doing. We are very grateful for all the supporters of this ministry.
